Material Science Behind Our Products – Rubber Tips
A considerable amount of R&D and laboratory work goes on behind the scenes for the compounds used in our line of Rubber Tips. Our rubber compounds are developed, mixed and molded entirely in-house, giving us the control over the manufacturing process to deliver you the exacting quality standards that you have come to expect for Oricus Semicon rubber tips.
Every compound during development is rigorously tested according to industry standards such as ASTM D2240 for Hardness, ASTM D412 for Tensile Strength and Elongation, ASTM D150 for Dissipation Factor, Federal Test Method 4046 for Static Decay, ANSI/ESD STM11.13, 11.12 and 11.13 for Surface Resistance, ASTM E831 for CTE, ISO188 for Heat Aging and UL for Flammability Tests.
The compounds that we develop are designed specially for the backend Semiconductor industry where Static Dissipative performance, Heat and Wear resistance, Clean formulations that leave no mark on die or devices and a wide range of hardness durometers are available to cater to your specific application.
Our compounds are also compliant to RoHS 2002/95/EC and REACH EC No. 1907/2006 requirements.
